Zaheera worked with us in her capacity as Head of Education and Community Skills – Socio-Economic Development and Partnerships in Anglo American. Zaheera out of her own initiative convened key partners around this goal, including Accenture, Impact Catalyst, and the IDC. Her intervention led directly to Accenture donating a 12-week piece of consulting work on the sustainable energy options available for the Institute and the broader campus in the city, which will now result in large solar farms being put on two large multi-storey buildings. In terms of her potential I believe that you would be hard-pressed to find someone who combines such a consistent demonstration of massive passion for development, with a finely-tuned intellect, real caring for the less fortunate, unstoppable co-ordination ability, and relevant transformative skills to help bring about significant beneficiation of life for others.

During her tenure as the lead on the Anglo American Education Programme our team at JET Education Services had the privilege of working directly with Zaheera for several years. She inspired us to greater heights, while making sure that we kept our focus on the task at hand.
